Experience
I have been a High School Math Teacher for 15 years and have tutored for almost as many years. The subjects I am extremely familiar with are Algebra 1, Geometry and Algebra 2. I have also taught and tutored Pre-Calculus. Although I am a HS teacher, I can (and have) tutored for middle school (specifically 7th & 8th grade). I believe that Algebra 1 is the most important math class a student can have in their educational career. All other math classes hinge upon the understanding and mastering of its concepts, and it is critical that a youngster get the help needed to succeed before they are left behind. Not every student is able to accomplish this without support in addition to what is offered by the teacher/school, and I am able to help bridge that learning gap.
